Kickboxing? Thanks Wikipedia for the following information:
Kickboxing is a group of stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, historically developed from Karate, Muay Thai, Khmer Boxing, and Western boxing. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a contact sport. Japanese kickboxing originated in the 1960s, with competitions held since then. American kickboxing originated in the 1970s. Historically, kickboxing can be considered a hybrid martial art formed from the combination of elements of various traditional styles. There are many different forms of kickboxing. Tatami Kickboxing works on scoring points by making contact on your opponent's body. The basic rules are that you cannot make contact lower than the belt. Kneeing and elbowing are off limits and contact with your opponent's back does not score you any points.
